David Thewlis 20 March, 1963 Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK Thewlis é o segundo de três crianças. Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Graduado em 1985. Em Abril de 1992, Thewlis casou-se com Sara Sugarman mas agora é divorciado. Está vivendo atualmente com Anna Friel.
"O ator David Thewlis, o professor Lupin no terceiro ano de Harry Potter, proibiu Muggles em sua casa. A estrela britânica pôs uma placa em seu jardim que diz "Nenhum Muggles é permitido" e "Quidditch jogado aqui" no quintal dos fundos.
